Cognitive Flexibility Theory
?
One model often cited as one of the underpinnings of constructivist learning is
Rand Spiro's Cognitive Flexibility Theory. All of the design problems we are work
ing on in the class have some elements that might be approached with this model i
n mind. Your task is to identify where the range of applicability lies. Here are
some resources to help you get started. They're not all equally applicable. Feel
free to use the web, ERIC and the bricks-and-mortar libraries you have access to
to extend this list.
